“Reframing” is a powerful tool widely used in therapy to create meaningful shifts in perspective, and the idea behind our practice name. We are a boutique psychology practice offering Teletherapy services to individual adults and couples. At Reframe Psychology Group, we recognize that life’s challenges bring inevitable emotional pain. We aim to help clients develop the self-acceptance, compassion, and skills they need to lead purposeful, intentional, and meaningful lives. Our therapists rely on their unique training, experience, and knowledge of evidence-based interventions to assist clients in facing challenges, embracing change, and finding balance in their multiple roles and intersecting identities.

Our team

Dr. Cohen is as dedicated and enthusiastic about her work with clients today as she was over two decades ago, when she saw her first client. She finds it energizing and rewarding to be of service to others.

Dr. Cohen genuinely cares about her clients' well-being and quality of life. She is committed to helping individuals find their voice and agency, within their relationships and in other areas of their lives.

Dr. Cohen tailors her integrative therapeutic approach to her individual clients' needs, backgrounds, and goals. The cornerstones of her approach are acceptance and respect for the struggles and strengths her clients bring to therapy.

Dr. Eromo is passionate about relationships. Whether it be relationships between partners or spouses, parents and children, or even one’s relationship with self, Dr. Eromo can help identify repetitive patterns and communication struggles, transforming how clients manage emotions and creating more balanced, fulfilling connections.

Rooted in her knowledge of attachment science and relational systems, Dr. Eromo strives to help clients create more secure and satisfying bonds with significant others in their lives, as well as more individual emotional awareness and resilience. She aims to create an affirmative, collaborative space, where clients’ experiences can be heard with acceptance and compassion.

Clients working with Dr. Eromo learn how to identify and express their emotions in healthy, productive ways. This is especially important in relationships, where miscommunication or avoidance of emotions can lead to conflict or distance.

Dr. Eromo works with couples, parents, and individuals. She takes an integrative, tailored approach to therapy, drawing from a variety of therapeutic modalities, including but not limited to Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

Valarie believes that we all hold the power to change our lives for the better. She emphasizes a collaborative, strengths-based approach to therapy.

As a trained EMDR therapist, Valarie helps clients process distressing experiences and live fulfilling, more present lives. With EMDR, Valarie’s clients experience change faster and on a deeper level than with traditional talk therapy.

Valarie’s approach to therapy is structured, compassionate, and empowering.  As an Internal Family Systems (IFS) informed therapist, she helps her clients reframe their struggles as adaptive responses to past experiences, develop an awareness of their inner worlds, and achieve long-term healing.

Valarie brings to therapy her life experiences as mother and a former teacher, which together with her education and training have shaped her into a skilled and compassionate clinician.

She has successfully helped individuals and couples navigate many of life’s challenges, including anxiety, depression, emotional distress due to traumatic experiences, relationship problems, significant life transitions and parenting challenges.
